Watching seeds that we began in cardboard egg cartons sprout up and begin to take shape excites me to no end. My husband and daughter are the most dedicated gardeners in the family, but I love to be a part of the process. In addition to our own garden, the green of the trees and the grass, the jonquils blooming, the butterflies flitting by, and the birds singing their sweet songs reminds me of not only the new life of spring but our new life which begins each moment that we accept Christ in us and know His truth of love, grace, and eternal life.

Please enjoy this bright reminder of spring (I just have mine on my fridge, but it’s really cute in a frame, too). Click here for your free printable download of Song of Solomon 2:11-12:
for behold, the winter is past;
the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land.
Love in Him,
