A joyful life is found in Christ beyond any circumstance. I think for me the most difficult on this list is staying in contact with family. My family is not Christian. They do not understand our lfestyle at all and ithurts to talk to them.
Brianna, that is so difficult. Keep being who you are in Christ. We often make a difference even when we don’t realize it. You’re right that a joyful life is found in Christ beyond any circumstance. Thank you so much for sharing!
“Take responsibility for yourself ” it seriously drives me bonkers when people don’t own up to their mistakes and when they blame everyone and everything for their mess-up! I learned from a very early age that it’s much easier to say, “Woops, my fault” that to sit and come up with some lame excuse for something I did. “Um… the dog made me do it!” Hee hee!
i’m right there with you! That’s why I had to include that one. I learned early on to just admit when it’s my fault and move on (and try to do better). Thanks so much for your comment. God bless!
Great list! My favorite is number 13. Yes! How many times have I looked back and thought, “I can’t even remember what I was so specifically stressed about during that time but remember being stressed!” I’m learning to think of the big picture and to not get stuck in the little moments that can steal my joy. And of course, the longer I walk with Jesus, the more I see how He truly is so faithful work out every detail and therefore I have nothing to fear in those moments. 🙂
Praise God!
Excellent words of wisdom and scripture. Some of these scriptures are my favorites.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing. God bless!
Great list! I am learning to be still and listen to God instead of going on and on to God about my life. It helps!
It is sometimes so difficult to be still, isn’t it?! I definitely have to work on that every day. God bless you!
What great tips!! So many of those, I need to try harder to do! 🙂
Jamie, me too! I’ve decided I’m a ‘work in progress’ striving to do better and be better each day. Some days are better than others for sure. So thankful for His grace.
Oh, I just love this list! I’m going to save it so I can come back and reference it when I need encouragement. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’m so happy you love it! Thanks so much for stopping by. God bless!
Hi Julie, I absolutely LOVE this post! As far as physical activities go, I just did some yoga, have been trying to get back into it lately, and it’s making a big difference. I also love numbers 10 and 20 and the scriptures that go with them. People can see God in us when we display joy in our lives, no matter what our circumstances. Thanks for this post!
So happy you liked it! I love yoga but am a total beginner. Thanks so much for stopping by! God bless!
Really lovely tips. The tip on dieting really spoke to me and made me focus more on my efforts to eat clean.
I have to remind myself to focus there, too! Thank you so much for commenting. God bless!
