Reflect and Apply:
When were you saved after you called on the Lord (verse 21)? Think about not only when you gave your life to Christ the first time but in every instance since. It is clear we are to call on the Lord in our strife and struggle.
In the post, Giving My Grief to God, I wrote about a time I called out to the Lord and was saved from despair. Write about a similar time in your life. It doesn’t have to be about grief, just any time you were ‘saved’ when you called out for help.
In verse 32, we read about the fellowship of the believers and how they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Where in your daily life do you show this depth of devotion?
