Finding gifts for little ones. No problem. Want them to be Christian based? Again, not too difficult. But finding Christian gifts for your teenage daughter? That’s a whole ‘nother story.
My 15 1/2 year old daughter already struggles with making a Christmas list for me. The things she wants are either too expensive or she thinks (knows?) I won’t get her what she wants.
Fortunately, the most prominent items on her list this year have to do with theatre makeup. She’s gotten into drama in a big way this year; this semester she played her first high school drama role as Juror #11 in 12 Angry Jurors, and this past week she auditioned for the spring musical, Guys and Dolls.
Theatre makeup I can do. I also went ahead and bought her big gift on special at Amazon – a Kindle Paperwhite.
She’s an avid reader, and I plan to load it up with Christian-themed novels for her. I need a few more things to round out her Christmas, though, and I wanted each item to be faith-based and meaningful.
Through my research, I found these items and thought you might like them, too.
Christian Gifts for a Teenage Girl
While the Kindle itself isn’t a Christian book, I love giving my teenage girl a means to easily carrying a bible with her plus other wholesome books to inspire her faith. Plus, wait until you see the accessories I found for my daughter’s Kindle below!
Try any or all of these Christian fiction books for teenage girls:
–A Daring Sacrifice
–Storm: A Novel (Stone Braide Chronicles)
–The Silent Songbird
How wonderful is this?! and if you prefer a different verse/cover, try one of these:

3. NIV Holy Bible for Girls, Journal Edition, Hardcover, Turquoise, Elastic Closure
I was looking for a journal and found this instead. I have the Women’s Devotional NIV and use it daily; I’m confident my daughter will love this NIV bible with a journal option directly within it designed for girls.
4. “I Know the Plans” Pink Plastic Water Bottle – Jeremiah 29:11
This is the FIRST verse I helped my daughter commit to memory to combat her disappointment over losing a school election in 5th grade. That was the beginning for her to use God’s Word to ‘arm’ herself with the tools she needed to get through life. Jeremiah 29:11 hangs in her room now; it’s her favorite verse.
5. Christian He Is Risen Womens No Show Flat Cushion Athletic Cotton Footies Sneakers Sports Socks
My daughter adores fun socks. She mixes and matches and never cares if what she’s wearing is a matching set. lol I’m getting these for her stocking! I should probably get her a different pair as well so that she can mix and match these too!
6. I love Jesus bracelet, Cross bracelet, Jesus bracelet, love infinity bracelet, leather bracelet
Teenagers don’t always want to talk about their faith out loud, but they can still share their love for Christ with what they wear. My daughter loves funky jewelry. This fits the bill perfectly!
7. Stainless Steel Simple Cross Pendant Lord’s Prayer Keychain Christmas Gift
My daughter has her driver’s permit right now and will turn 16 and test for her license in March. Eek!!! When my boys started driving, it was nerve-wracking enough, but now…my baby! I’m adding this Lord’s Prayer keychain to her stocking so that she can literally carry Christ with her every day once she starts driving.
8. Trust In the Lord Proverbs 3:5 Ceramic 14 ounce Decorative Box and Mug Set
My teen doesn’t drink coffee, but she does love hot tea. This Trust in the Lord mug plus some specialty tea from Teavana would truly be a special gift. Hot chocolate would sure taste good in it, too!
9. Jesus Today Teen Cover: Experience Hope in His Presence
This sequel to the #1 bestseller, Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young makes a perfect gift for a teenage girl. My ladies’ bible study did a series on Jesus Calling this past semester, and I’m excited to share Sarah Young’s devotions with my daughter. I don’t think she’s in the habit of daily devotionals yet, and a series like this should grab her interest and be relevant to her life today.
10. Faber-Castell Bible Journaling Kit
Most teen girls love bright markers, highlighters, and pens. Teaching them to practice active faith in the Word will be a treasure that lasts a lifetime.
I had planned to only get a few markers and a small booklet on journaling to add to my daughter’s stocking but decided instead to go with this kit.
I hope you find something useful here. I know it’s not always easy to shop for our teenage girls, but these ideas can hopefully get you started!
If you have other ideas, I’d love for you to share them in the comments below so that others that visit this page can find even more ideas.
