CIRCLE OF HIS LOVE NARRATIVE:
Living in the circle of God’s love magically creates the desire to let that agape love flow out from us onto those in our circle of life. What a special gift we are given when we allow that unique love to fill our souls and then share that love with others.
It’s like dropping a pebble into water and the ripples spread out into bigger and bigger circles enveloping everything in its path. God wants us to continue spreading His circle of love around everything in our path every day even, and especially, as we face the challenges that life can bring.
CIRCLE OF HIS LOVE SCRIPTURES:
Psalm 34:7-9 God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. Worship God if you want the best; worship opens doors to all his goodness.
Hebrews 1:10-12 He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe;like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”
Revelation 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
1 John 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Here are more scriptures that go along with the Circle of His Love theme.
CIRCLE OF HIS LOVE ICEBREAKERS:
Have the ladies stand in a circle. Provide a beach ball or another type of ball that’s easy to toss. Start with one lady and ask her to toss the ball to someone in the circle. The lady who catches the ball will then share something about herself with the group. That lady will toss it to someone else and the game continues until each lady has had a chance to share.
What is Something You Love?:
Ask the ladies to place their chairs in one big circle and have a seat. Ask them to go around in the circle and share something they love just using one word. You can make it more challenging by having a rule of not repeating a word. Go around the circle as many times as you would like. An additional part of this icebreaker could be that you ask them to expand on their answers so the ladies can learn more about each other.
CIRCLE OF HIS LOVE RETREAT GAMES/ACTIVITIES:
In Name Pantomime, the ladies will stand in a circle, arm distance apart. Have each one at a time state her name preceded by and action word that starts with the first letter of her name. An example is “jumping Julie” or “kicking Karen”. As they call out their action and name, they will pantomime the action.
A Day in the Life:
For A Day in the Life, follow the instructions on the Women’s Ministry Toolbox website to play this entertaining game. How we spend our day says a lot about who we are. As answers are shared you’ll uncover new information about the people in your group. Chances are you’ll discover a shared favorite restaurant or TV show.

CIRCLE OF HIS LOVE CLOSING PRAYER:
Dear Lord, what an amazing time we had celebrating you and your amazing love. Thank you for teaching us a little bit about allowing that love to flow through us and the importance of letting it flow out of us to share with others. We realize that the circle of your love is infinite and that you are endlessly searching for ways for us to experience it. Sometimes the challenges of life divert that love away from our hearts if we let it. We have to remain intentional and focused to let your love soak into us and then for us to be that pebble dropped into the water to be the ripple effect to spread positivity to our personal circle of friends and family. Thank you for loving us through everything. Please be with each lady here as we make our journey home. Amen.
