In 12 Top Gift Ideas for Women’s Ministry Leaders, I’ll share with you the items I wished I’d had to help me organize, plan, teach, and rest. If there’s a special women’s ministry leader in your life that you’re shopping for, try any or all of these ideas. I’m positive she’ll love them!
Six years ago, when God called me to venture into women’s ministry (Who? Me?), I tentatively stepped out in faith. I knew nothing and had nothing except my deep love for God and a compulsion to share His love with other women.
Church camp molded my life as a child. As an adult, I missed the closeness and connection with God and others I experienced at camp. My love for camp compelled me to begin planning and organizing women’s retreats which followed along the lines of camp.
I began gathering supplies and resources and realized very quickly that I lacked many of the foundational basics. Along the way, I also realized I needed items for organizing, teaching, and…relaxing during and after planning.
Here are the 12 Top Gift Ideas for Women’s Ministry Leaders that I recommend:
For Organizing
Accordion file – I love this one with its multicolors and multiple dividers. A leader can easily organize forms, flyers, contacts, and teaching resources.
Storage Containers– I love these in various sizes, but this sturdy 95 quart is perfect for packing for a retreat. I use one for breakout session resources, one for the coffee bar, one for folders and printouts, etc.
Carry all tote bag – This one has pockets for papers, files, supplies, folders, and everything else they need. Plus, the color makes it cute and fun to carry!
For Planning
Living Well Planner – I use my Living Well Planner for everything but especially as a way to plan and reach the goals I set in my ministry whether it’s through Bible study, retreat planning, or my blog.
Frixion Clicker Erasable Gel Pens – These pens are the absolute best! I love the colors and the smoothness in the gel, but best of all, THEY ARE ERASABLE! Yes, I shouted that with joy! No more scratching out or whiting out changes in the plans. With these pens, you can erase! They’re perfect for every women’s ministry leader!
Complete Guide to Planning a Christian Women’s Retreat – Okay, I’m biased, but I truly believe this is the best women’s retreat planning guide out there. It comes with step-by-step instructions and more than a dozen templates that can be customized for individual retreats.
For Teaching
Bible cover – Taking a Bible from meeting to meeting can take a toll. A pretty cover for a ministry leader’s Bible will definitely be appreciated!
Extra Large Post-it Notes – These huge Post-It notes work great for planning but can also be used to emphasize teaching notes or use in group activities to reinforce the message.
Gift card to Staples – Women’s ministry leaders have to make lots of copies. If the church copier isn’t available, a gift card to Staples can help with printing and copying needs. It’s so nice to not have to use the event budget for copies!
For Resting
Devotional about resting – Having book in hand encourages busy leaders to take a break. This book on the Sabbath is a perfect gift.
Scented candle for relaxation – These gorgeous aromatherapy candles are specifically for stress relief.
Bath bombs or bubble bath – Stress relief bath bombs or bubble bath will pamper a busy leader and re-energize her for another day!
No matter which you choose, the women’s ministry leader in your life will appreciate your help and thoughtfulness!

I have 3!! lol I bought the old design late this summer and started it in August. Then, I loved it so much that I jumped in on the deal for the new design and went ahead and grabbed another for 50% off special. It’s not my first planner, but it’s the first I feel I can truly get everything in and get my goals accomplished! Thanks so much for commenting!
