For my faith blog, I chose WordPress and got to know the WordPress dashboard quickly when I began blogging several years ago. Before going with the WordPress platform, I checked out others. While I found Weebly and Squarespace tempting, I knew that WordPress was more for me. I like the idea of having a self-hosted site with a WordPress platform and being able to pretty much be unlimited in the customization of it.
If you’ve decided to go with WordPress for your faith blog, don’t let the dashboard scare you. Even if you feel you aren’t ‘good’ with technology, you’ll be able to quickly learn your way around WordPress, and you’ll be getting your posts out there to your readers in no time at all.

Once you get the hang of the dashboard and creating a post and a page, you’ll have to check out how to install and schedule with the editorial calendar (post coming soon). It’s so easy to use. You’ll also want to know about inserting images and how to use the Yoast SEO plugin to help with your search engine optimization. Those videos will be coming soon, too!
